Tororo Cement has been awarded the Presidential Exporters' Gold Award 2007 for the outstanding performance in the Cement sector, in which, according to Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS), the company earned US $16.5m.

The award was presented by the President of the Republic of Uganda, H.E. Yoweri K Museveni at the Imperial Royale Hotel in kampala on Saturday, 4th Oct 2008.
