- Tororo Cement Limited has given over sh100m towards the improvement of security, sanitation, hygiene and other health-related issues in Tororo District. The general manager, G.M. Gagrani, said the donations are part of their social responsibility to support the communities towards attaining sustainable development. Gagrani said the projects being financed include the planned construction of a sh77.6m police post in Osukuru Sub-county. He said other projects are distribution of mosquito nets to pregnant mothers and the elderly people, provision of drugs to Opeded Health Centre II and protection of springs.
