Tororo Cement has very cordial relations with the stakeholders & Central/ Local government.

We employ approximately 1000 people under direct employment and more then 5000 are employed indirectly.

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) recognized and rewarded us on 20th Sept, 2008 as the " MOST COMPLIANT AND LARGEST CONTRIBUTOR of tax in the region for the year 2007-2008..

We regularly contribute to Central, Local govt., local bodies, NGO's, School, Hospitals to improve the social values and to the needy peoples of the society. Some of the recent contributions are as follows:

• Construction of Health Center for the community.
  
• Operating and maintaining the health Center with drugs and Staff for last one year
  
• Distributing on regular basis, the treated Mosquito nets to all the pregnant mothers in the whole of the county for one year.
